Top 5 Music and Podcasts Apps Performance in Malta, Q2 2023

The second quarter of 2023 saw notable trends in the performance of the top music and podcasts apps in Malta, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Spotify - Music and Podcasts experienced a significant increase in weekly revenue, starting at around $265 in late March and peaking at approximately $651 by the end of June. Weekly downloads for Spotify saw a slight decline over the quarter, starting at 499 and ending at 460.

Shazam: Find Music & Concerts had relatively stable weekly revenue, mostly hovering around $5 to $8. Weekly downloads showed a moderate fluctuation, peaking at 316 in early May and ending the quarter at 244.

JioSaavn – Music & Podcasts showed no considerable revenue data but had varied weekly downloads. The app saw a peak of 331 downloads in the first week of April, with a decline to 181 by the end of June.
